Android Phone Review: Samsung Galaxy Fit
Samsung make lots of android phones covering almost every bracket of the market, whether you like this strategy or not there’s no denying it works. News recently broke that Samsung has now overtaken Nokia as the biggest seller of mobile phones on the planet.
Samsung has named its android smartphone range as the Galaxy range, which includes the very top high-end phones all the way down to their entry level phones. The Galaxy Fit ‘fits’ into the latter category. Unashamedly a budget phone, the Galaxy Fit looks to improve upon its predecessor the Galaxy Mini. We’ll let you know if this phone is better suited to taking your money than other budget phones (like the HTC Wildfire S).
Review: Archos Home Connect 35
So, here we go, my first review. As one of the “new boys” at DroidDen I was on a mission. To get the bestest, most brilliant device I could get my hands on. Maybe the latest Android tablet, one of the next generation Smartphones. Then along came Archos with a device I would never have dreamed of reviewing in a millennia. With us being about everything Android related, we mean EVERYTHING! So I agreed to the device being sent and here it is in all its glory: The Archos Home Connect 35. Am I impressed? Find out by hitting the link!
Review: Sony Xperia S
The Sony Xperia S marks Sony’s entrance as an independent entity into the android smartphone market. The Xperia S is marketed as a high-end android phone, targetting those of us who like the latest and best in technology. You can get your hands on the Xperia S for around £379.99.The question is, does it deliver? You can read our thoughts on this phone below.

Battle of The Budget Super Phones: Samsung Galaxy SII vs HTC Sensation
Ok, so maybe not quite budget phones, but they are definitely in the super category. These two phones have been out for quite a while now, and as such you can get both on quite reasonable contracts, and even for quite respectable sim only prices too (respectable in relation to other phones of course). Both have also been somewhat overtaken by newer handsets brought out by these two manufactures (more HTC than Samsung to be honest). Samsung have the more powerful Galaxy Note, whilst HTC have the Sensation XE. Both great upgrades in terms of specs, but with an additional premium on the cost as a result.
Christmas is coming, and if you are on the lookout for a top level android phone at a decent price, you might be thinking about either of these handsets, so to help you out I’ve put together a comparison of the main features these phones provide.
Acer Iconia A500 Tablet Review
Android seems to be taking over the world right now, with good reason to. Everywhere you turn from mobile phone stores, department stores and even supermarkets you can get your hands on some form of Android device. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S2 which I love. The one thing I was missing was a tablet that offered me the flexibility that I craved, my iPad2 which I have to admit is a awesome bit of hardware falls somewhat short in many areas.
Samsung Galaxy SII Camera Test
There has been quite a lot of discussion around which android phone has the best camera. You might just quote the one with the most MP, but that really isn’t a true measure of what makes a good mobile phone camera. We’ve tested out the Samsung Galaxy SII camera, with what we think is an appropriate subject matter!
Samsung Galaxy Pro: RIM Beware?
Samsung have kindly sent me out one of their more modest android phones (when comparing to the great Galaxy SII that is), the Samsung Galaxy Pro. You might guess at who this phone is aimed towards from the name given to the phone, but if you need a slightly bigger hint just take a look at the device itself!
Phone Unboxing: Samsung Galaxy S II
Well, along with the Eee Pad Transformer, I also splashed out on the Samsung Galaxy S II yesterday! This phone is fantastic, its sooo light (you’ll notice my surprise further down), the screen is one of hte best, if not the best I’ve ever seen on a phone, and it literally flies thanks to the dual core 1.2Ghz cpu inside!
An unboxing of this beast is below for your personal pleasure!

Tablet Unboxing: Asus Eee Pad Transformer
So I picked up the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 16GB WiFi tablet yesterday from Carphone Warehouse. First impressions of the tablet are great, the screen is really bright and vibrant and honeycomb speeds along. The build is also very nice! I’ll be getting a review up once I’ve had a chance to really put it throught its paces!
In the meantime I recorded an unboxing video, bear in mind this is my first attempt so they will get better!

Phone Review: HTC Wildfire
The HTC Wildfire is a very nice looking phone, styled after the very successful HTC Desire it could almost be it’s little brother. However, looks are where the similarity between these phones both begins and ends. Check out the full review for our thoughts on this budget handset from the Taiwanese HTC.
