Preview: Hands On With Reckless Racing 2 For Android From Polarbit
The guys over at Polarbit have been kind enough to send me a pre-release version of their new game, Reckless Racing 2. A new member of the Reckless range of games, and a successor to the hugely popular (and one of my personal favourite games), Reckless Racing 1. The game will be available to the public on February 2nd in the android market.
Muffin Knight For Android Review: Xperia Play Optimised
I’ve been playing Muffin Knight for a long time. Originally I bought it for the Samsung Galaxy SII, and really enjoyed it using the on screen controls, however when I played it on the Xperia Play, its like a whole new game! The Xperia Play controls really suit this game. I find I can move my character about quicker and with much more intricate movement than I could with the on screen controls.
Game Review: Cut The Rope
Cut The Rope is a very cute and simple puzzle game with a simple objective. Feed Om Nom candy. It was originally released for iOS devices but has now found its way on Android. The premise is easy, cut some ropes to get the candy to the little green guy. It also has 3 stars to collect in each stage required for unlocking new levels. Collecting stars adds to the challenge of the game and believe me it can get very challenging.
Game Review: Swamp Defense
I am not much of a mobile gamer, mostly due to smartphone batteries being so poor, but sometimes a game comes along that it is difficult not to keep playing. Swamp Defense is one of those games! It is a simple and fun tower defence game which isn’t too difficult for beginners, and has enough to keep experts entertained. It also supports the popular OpenFeint mobile gaming network.
My Top 5 Casual Android Games Right Now
I remember when I first got my HTC Hero years ago. Good android games were actually not that common, well lets say polished android games. The number of games was adequate, but you could see most were made by indie devs who maybe hadn’t had that much experience with mobile games before. Today? Well it’s a whole different story, the android market is literally bursting at the seams with fantastic games. What follows is a list of the top 5 casual games I’m playing at this very moment. Casual games mean those you can pick up and play for 5 minutes, or 5 hours. This list could change next week, but you’ll get a load of fun from each one of them.
Each game listed has a link to the market, so simply click on the link, log in, and select download to get these games straight to your device.

Game Review: Pyxidis
As most of you know, I love my android gaming. There are tons and tons of great games out there on android, but sometimes it can be difficult to track them down, meaning some of the greats just slip on by. Well Pyxidis, the newest game from Hyperbees and GyLgames is one you should at the very least check out.

Game Review: DynamoKid Touch
DynamoKid touch, a game from OrangePixel, who are quite a prolific developer of android games with a number of good (and not so good) games currently on the market. The game is a 2D scroller, in which the only control you have over the DynamoKid is when you touch him, he will jump, with the character automatically running across the screen.
