LX Optimus 2X Review And Cool Gesture Control

Written by Rachid Otsmane-Elhaou. Posted in Android News

GSM Arena Has just put up a very extensive review of the LG Optimus 2X, the first dual core Tegra2 android phone available in the UK. I know a lot of you are interested in this phone, especially because it can be had for what is a cheapish £450. Make you you go over there and check out the review.

One thing I wanted to show here is the very innovative and cool gesture feature the Optimus 2X has. You can literally tap the side of the phone (the side, not the screen) to cause different actions such as flicking through images or moving teh text cursor. I love this feature! Check out the vid of it in action below:

Written by Rachid Otsmane-Elhaou. Posted in Android News

Samsung Galaxy Tab Only £299!

Written by Rachid Otsmane-Elhaou. Posted in Android News

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is still a great tablet device, even in the face of all the new android tablets coming out (I should know I own one). It’s as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S, the phone of 2010, and was the most powerful android tablet until the Xoom came out. Well, its STILL the most powerful tablet available in the UK. The 7″ screen size is just perfect for carrying around with you, not to mention the inbuilt 3G.

Have you ever watched an iPhone ad, and felt frustrated at the lies being showed to millions who are no doubt watching (and sadly believing) that trash? Of course you have! Especially with the latest round of adverts they have put out.

Well this is great news for everyone owning a Samsung Galaxy S (and there are a lot of you!). Samsung have just posted on their facebook page that an update to their fantastically awful Kies desktop software is available. Now that in itself might not be enough to excite you, but the reason for the update sure is. The update is in preparation for the 2.3.2 update (thats gingerbread by the way) to your Samsung Galaxy S, Vibrant and Facinate phones.
