My Top 5 Android Apps Right Now
I’ve been trying out new social apps recently, and came across Formspring. It’s a service where you can ask people to ask you questions, and the responses are public. One of the android related questions I was asked was to name my top 5 android apps and why. It took me a long time to think about this, and it’s probably one of the hardest questions I’ve ever had to answer! Bear in mind I currently have about 400 apps on my phone, and go though a ton each day that don’t make it on my permanent list.
I posted the reply to Formspring, but I thought I’d post here too, as my answer might be of interest to you guys! So in no real order, here we go…!

The hit ios game Temple Run has finally made its way on to android. We have been waiting for a long long time, and after countless fakes you’re able to download it from the Google Play Store. Oh, and one of the best things? Yep, it’s also free!
“You’ve stolen the cursed idol from the temple, and now you have to run for your life to escape the Evil Demon Monkeys nipping at your heels. Test your reflexes as you race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs. Swipe to turn, jump and slide to avoid obstacles, collect coins and buy power ups, unlock new characters, and see how far you can run!”

New Game Added to Android Humble Bundle: Snuggle Truck
The guys over at Humble Bundle have added a new #android game to their current Humble Bundle line up. The game is called Snuggle Truck and involves driving a truck over treacherous terrain with the goal of reaching the Zoo without losing any of the animals in the truck.
Sounds cute? Well it looks cute too. Its free if you've already bought the Humble Bundle, so head over to their website, download the Humble Bundle app and check out this new game.

In Snuggle Truck, you must overcome treacherous terrain get your cargo of precious stuffed animals safely to the zoo, in an adorable take on the "trials" game genre. It includes a level creator and access to thousands of user-created levels, with many of the top entries taking snuggle trucking to the extreme. As a bonus, Android users can also download the uncensored original: Smuggle Truck, the same game framed as an immigration satire, which was reportedly too spicy for some game marketplaces.

DealPad Hits Android: All Your Hot UK Deals In a Lovely UI
A new, and very well made HotUKDeals app has hit the Play Store today named DealPad. The developer has really tried to stay true to new #android style guidelines given by Google for ICS.
I have to say the app looks really, really nice (inclusion of one of my favourite colours, orange is a bonus!). The app does require Honeycomb upwards however, a must as it's based on the new android framework.
It works great on both tablets and phones too, definitely an app to try out if you're lucky enough to own a Honeycomb or ICS android device (and are from the UK!).
Grab the app on the Google Play market link below.
