Samsung Galaxy S II Gets Funky Gesture Controls

Written by Rachid Otsmane-Elhaou. Posted in Android News

The Samsung Galaxy S II makes fantastic use of its gyroscope, by holding two fingers to the screen when viewing a webpage, moving the phone back and forwards actually zooms in and out! A nice complement to the more traditional pinch zoom there! The video also shows you being able to move widgets between homescreens simply by holding the widget and moving the phone, definitely something to show off doing.

The Samsung rep also mentions there will be many other cool gesture based controls in the final shipped phone, can’t wait to see what they are! Anyway guys, let me know what you think about these, purely a gimmick or something you might actually use?
