Is This The Samsung Galaxy SIII

By now you should all have heard about the unveiling of “a new Galaxy” in London on the 3rd May (which I’ll be happily attending btw!). Samsung have been incredibly secretive about their new device, although there have been lots of rumours and “leaks”, we’re yet to hear anything official.

However, a Vietnamese site has managed to get its hands on a device known as GT-I9300, which should point to the Galaxy S three device model.

The specs of the device are as follows:

  • 4.6-inch display – 720 x 1184 resolution (320 DPI)
  • Quad-core 1.4 GHz CPU
  • Ice Cream Sandwich OS
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8-megapixel camera
  • 16GB of storage
  • microSD slot
  • NFC

    That text doesn’t look like it’s on a 720P screen… might just be the photo though.

      Yeah I think so, it surely is at least 720p, anything less would be silly on Samsungs part.

    Why there is two black mini paper covering the left and right bottom of the “SIII”?

      No idea, I’m presuming it’s something that can be used to identify that exact phone so that it cant be traced back to the person who leaked it..

    This would tie in with another leaked picture the other day, which also had those little patches in the bottom corner!

    I just hope this isn’t the final design, the specs are impressive, although I really thought since Samsung made the retina display in the new iPad, they could be the first to bring a 1080p display to the market, all will be revealed May 3rd I guess. Hope this doesn’t seem like advertising/spam, but I just wrote an article on this too >>

    Well Samsung and Apple really are copying each other on who can be the least imaginative when it comes to realising a new device
