Google Introduces Android Voice Actions For 5 More Countries

Google have released Voice Actions on android for  users in UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain. The Americans have had this for a while now (since last year). This offers functionality similar to the VLINGO app (also available on the market) and lets you perform a variety of tasks on your phone using your voice, perfect for when your hands a tied up, such as driving.

You can speak any of these commands to perform a Voice Action on your phone:

  • send text to [contact] [message]
  • call [business]
  • call [contact]
  • go to [website]
  • navigate to [location/business name]
  • directions to [location/business name]
  • map of [location]
