Android Guide: How To Flash The New Market If The apk Doesn’t Work

If you are rooted, and cannot install the new market via the apk method, then this is for you. A flashable zip that will give your phone the new (and very funky) android market! Once again, follow the jump for full details!

Installation Instructions

Download To Phone

1. Download the application here or by scanning the above QR code from your phone.
2. When completed open up Rom Mananger (available from the market)
3. Click Install Rom from sdcard
4. Find the zip you just downloaded and tap on it.
5. You don’t need to select backup existing rom (but its always advisable right?)
6.  Do not select wipe
7. Click ok
8. Sit back and relax!

Download To PC

1. Download the application.
2. Connection your phone to you PC via USB cable and select Disk Drive mode.
3. Copy the downloaded file to your phones sdcard (any location, just remember where you put it).
4. When completed open up Rom Mananger (available from the market)
5. Click Install Rom from sdcard
6. Find the zip you just downloaded and tap on it.
7. You don’t need to select backup existing rom (but its always advisable right?)
8. Do not select wipe
9. Click ok
10. Sit back and relax!
